The 6th annual Knox Asian Festival is coming to Knoxville, TN on August 25, 2019 from 11 am – 8 pm! The Festival this year will feature authentic traditional food vendors representing Asian countries from Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, India, Burma, Korea, China, Japan, Philippines, Cambodia, and Vietnam until 6 pm so you can eat your way around World's Fair Park and enjoy amazing cuisine while learning about different cultures and the wonderful people that live in our Community!

Guests to this free Event will be able to enjoy featured performances that include traditional Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, and Philippine dance. There will be various martial arts demonstrations, K-Pop and J-Pop performances, Chinese professional musicians, a bonsai exhibition, a cosplay contest, Japanese tea ceremony, and the famous Japanese drummers from Disney World (I LOVE them and they always put on an amazing show at Epcot when we are there!!) Many of the featured Artists travel to Knoxville from different US cities and various Asian countries to participate in this fun Festival.

For Kids there will be bounce houses and inflatables as well as games provided by the Boy Scouts of America and the YMCA of East TN. Home Depot will join in the fun with DIY Kid's Crafts and there will be a Knox Epcot educational booth. This Asian Festival includes a strong educational component “Kid’s Asian World,” where young visitors travel through booths that are named for Asian cultural interactive activities and feature traditional foods and art for each. Children/adults receive a stamp in their Festival passport for each cultural booth visited. Children are encouraged to visit all cultural booth to learn about the diversity of cultural traditions.
