1. Kid A’Riffic Fun in the Park

West Hills Park will be this week’s location for the Kid A’Riffic Fun in the Park event which will be full of fun crafts and activities. Wednesday July 21 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. 

2. The Children’s Theatre presents The Little Mermaid

Enjoy everyone’s favorite mermaid as the actors at The Children’s Theatre act their rendition of this Disney classic on stage. July 22-July 25th. Times vary.

3. Zoo After-Hours

Beat the heat and enjoy the Knoxville Zoo as they keep their doors open past their regular closing time. This kid-friendly event allows viewing of the animals, special food trucks, beverages and their splash pad will remain open. Thursday, July 22 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. 

4. Christmas in July at Cherokee Caverns

Cool down in the Cherokee Caverns as you enjoy thousands of Christmas lights in the cave amongst the stalactites and stalagmites. Get some early Christmas presents at the outdoor shopping booths and enjoy some cool treats. July 23 5:00 PM-9:00 PM and July 24-25 3:00 PM-9:00 PM. 

5. Summer Movie Magic presents Raiders of the Lost Arc

Enjoy some popcorn while watching this classic movie at the historic Tennessee Theatre. Friday, July 23 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, July 25 at 8:00 PM.
