FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGES 6 AND UP, AND ADULTS
Bring the family to Ijams Nature Center for a great time celebrating all things owl! Adults and kids alike will gain a deeper appreciation for these animals while having a "hoot" of their own. There will be Owl games, Owl pellets, Owl meet and greets, Owl walks, and even an Owl call competition.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with games, pellet dissections, and a practice session for our owl call competition. Games shut down and the call competition begins at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is invited to sign-up in one of our three age groups to give your best call, or just sit back and watch the fun. Each group will be judged by our panel of naturalists (don't worry, they're nice) and the winner receives a prize!
